Bringing APWBWGTTD Back
Last night was the first APWBWGTTD (Atlanta People With Blogs Who Get Together to Drink) meetup since a temporary hiatus. In a nutshell, it was a smashing success. There were a few new bloggers in attendance, Danielle, John, Cam, Cameron, Joe, and Amy (the last two I didn’t get a chance to talk to but seemed to be getting along with Brian which means they are either alright peeps or totally screwed in the head.) The regular cast of characters showed up, including a few who had been absent to the past few meetups (when there were actually meetups to be had). Check The Napkin for official attendance.
The locale was Fox Bros. BBQ and being the barbecue snob that I am, even I had to admit is was pretty damn tasty. The place was pretty cool actually. Great outdoor layout and excellent service. Even if they did deny my credit card for some reason… that’s embarrassing. It’s not maxed out, I promise!
Major kudos go out to Lori for bringing APWBWGTTD back. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a resurgence in the blogging community of Atlanta.
