For a good laugh, read “How to Get Suspended and Influence People” by Adam Selzer. It’s about a middle school kid who takes an assignment to create an avant garde film about masturbation…hilarious and right up your alley since it deals with the two things you love most:

One of my last reads was The Road by Cormack McCarthy which I followed with Blaze by Richard Bachman (Stephen King). The Road was an amazing read…very well written. I also loved Blaze, but it takes a certain type to appreciate a Stephen King book, so if you are into that kind of book, give it a try!

Yesterday you said you took fiber pills to promote regularity. Today you tell us you are reading a book by Neal Boortz.
I would hope those fiber pills work for reading material as well as food.

i had a hard time reading American Psycho after seeing the movie. wish i had done it in the other order, but i didn’t.

also, The Things They Carried was pretty awesome. we have two copies if you later decide that you’d like to read it.

ming, I’ve been wanting to read American Psycho ever since I saw the movie and Middlesex sounds like it could be interesting… both added to the wishlist. The Things They Carried doesn’t sound like it would hold my narrow minded interest. Thanks though.

I agree with Blink. I’m more of a fiction reader now, so I’d also suggest American Psycho, Middlesex, or The Things They Carried for your scope of interest.
