Moving
I have finally decided to take the plunge and move into the city. After 4 months of getting up at 5a to avoid traffic during the 30mi drive to work, I’ve had enough. I have found a decent (read: incredibly small) apartment within walking distance to my office in Buckhead. Yeah, yeah… the only thing lamer than Buckhead is the people that live there. Well, it makes logistical sense for me so shut it. Since I will be walking to work, I will have absolutely no commute which equates to a considerable savings in gas and more importantly, my time. And albeit ITP, I’m still North enough to have a very short drive to my friends and antics in Alpharetta.
I get the keys Wednesday and will be moving in over the course of the next couple weeks. No rush here. If you’re wondering, I’m going to try and rent out my townhouse. Anyone know of someone looking for a place in Alpharetta?
And finally, Georgia Power’s website customer assistance is dead to me.
That is all.

Congrats on the decision! I am sure the extra time will be helpful to you. Good luck with renting the condo out too!!! I would not want to live close to where I work so I just need to get off my ass and find another job that is closer to where I live!

Thanks. I’ve been wanting to see what it’s like to live ITP for a while. Now that I work in the city, it makes sense to check it out. After a year, who knows? I may be heading back to Taterville.

Having done the evil commute thing in DC for two years (two years too long that is) I doubt that you will want to return to Taterville. You’ll love the new found hours in your day and you no longer have to worry about the long trek home after a night out with the crew. Congratulations!

Team OTP man, Team OTP… It lays in ruins now
Now I don’t believe in nothing no more

You ruined Team OTP when you moved across the state line! True, you’re technically still OTP … just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay OTP, but still. A little of Team OTP died inside when you left. How could do that to me?

Technically, up until a month ago, I still owned property OTP…
And as you say, I’m still OTP and keeping it realz, yo!
