   I think it is a great idea to help people realize there are problems and that we can help. To say it is dumb is rather shallow in my opinion.

   Mitch, I’m all about conservation but at an individual level and for financial reasons only. Fact is, there is growing information that man-made global warming is a scam. The founder of the weather channel and San Diego meteorologist has said just as much. Not to mention that 3 of the 4 of the world’s most prominent weather monitoring services, including NASA, have stated the in the past year the planet has cooled enough to offset 100 years of global warming.

   I’m just not sold on the fact we have any impact on the global climate.

   That being said, we obviously have a water issue here and if turning out the lights in Georgia for an hour helps conserve energy (which apparently water creates, haven’t figured that one out but whatevs) then so be it. Turn out the lights. But to do this internationally because a the enviro-freaks are trying to scare us, that’s just dumb.
