My Plugins

My WordPress plug-ins:

  • Tagline Randomizer - This was my 2nd plug-in and as of right now, the most popular. The purpose of the plug-in is to randomly change the tagline field of your WordPress blog each time the site is accessed. The blog owner is able to specify what taglines are available through the Options menu of the Administration page.
  • PosterPic - [Coming Soon!] This plug-in was written by request. The purpose is to add a of the post’s author at the beginning of the post. Management of author’s pics are handled through the Administration Page.
  • PostCopy - This plug-in was written out of necessity when I moved from one blog to another. It allows you to copy over one or more posts (or pages) and their comments from one WordPress blog to another.
  • X-Comments - This was my first plug-in and my first experience with PHP and MySQL. It was designed so that you could list the comments you’ve posted on other blogs right there on your own blog. It was innovative at its time but with sites such as Commentful and CoComments around, it’s less popular. I’m not actively supporting it either. I am kind of proud of it though and really wish I had done more with it sooner so that I could have sold out like Commentful did and make mega-bucks. Oh well…

I’m a very novice programmer but I enjoy it immensely. If there is a plug-in idea you have but can’t find anywhere, let me know and I’ll see if I can’t put it together for you.
